MG launches S6 EV and S9 PHEV in Bangladesh
MG Bangladesh introduced the 77 kWh S6 EV and seven-seat S9 PHEV, with introductory prices from ৳53.9 lakh and two new Bogura fast chargers improving route coverage.
MG Bangladesh launched the S6 EV and S9 PHEV in early October 2026. The S6 uses a 77 kWh battery, a 180 kW motor and offers up to 530 km WLTP range; the S9 is a seven-seat PHEV with a 24.7 kWh battery and more than 100 km of claimed electric driving.
Launch coverage puts the S6 at an introductory ৳53.9 lakh and the S9 at ৳63.9 lakh for the first 100 units, versus a regular ৳64.9 lakh. The launch handout says both models include two complimentary 11 kW home chargers and an eight-year warranty; confirm the exact trim and written terms before booking.
BYD Bangladesh also reported a second fast charger in Bogura at TMSS Filling Station, alongside the Momo Inn charger. The new directory entry uses the published Majhira location; confirm access, connector and live status before relying on it for a trip.
